Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is a lightweight building material made of cement, lime, gypsum, sand, water, and a small amount of aluminum powder. The manufacturing process involves mixing the raw materials and pouring the mixture into molds. The aluminum powder reacts with the lime and water to create hydrogen gas, which expands the mixture and forms air pockets.The molds are then placed in an autoclave, which uses high pressure and steam to curethe concrete and give it its final strength and durability.The resultant product has a cellular structure and is known as AAC.It has a low density and consists of about 80% air by volume. It is a porous material with millions of tiny air bubbles scattered in it. AAC products are becoming more popular and preferred building products in the construction industry due to their many advantages. These products are used in a wide range of construction applications, including walls, floors, roofs, and decorative elements
